Due to some wet weather last week, this week’s SWMMBA Thursday will be a dig day at Leverich. Led by our trails manager Patrick Rooney, volunteer crews will split up to tackle specific problem areas on the trail. If you are interested in volunteering, please sign this waiver.

We will meet at the Leverich Canyon trailhead at 6pm. This is a busy trailhead, so please consider carpooling and parking at the Nash Park lot, if possible. If you park at Nash, it is a short two-mile ride to the trailhead, so give yourself extra time and make sure to bring your bike.

We will provide all tools, but we recommend gloves, long pants, and sturdy shoes. Water and snacks are also a good idea, and eye protection is smart. No skills are necessary to volunteer, so don’t be discouraged if this is your first time.

You can expect to work until about 8:30pm. Afterward, we will hang in the parking lot for some refreshments. If you biked to the trailhead, be prepared to return home in the dark.
