Join the Dirt Concern, SWMMBA’s Bozeman chapter, for a no-drop group ride leaving from the Brackett Creek trailhead. This ride is on the intermediate side with some advanced cornering, about 1,600 ft. of climbing, and short technical sections. This trail is commonly referred to as Grassy Mountain, Brackett Creek, or the north section of the Bangtail Divide. Follow the above link for directions to the trailhead if you are unfamiliar.
As always, we’ll have a lead and sweep to ensure everyone stays together. Because this trail is open to motorized users, ebikes are encouraged to join! We’ll plan to ride to a high point about 4 miles up the trail, making this a roughly 2-hour, 8-mile round-trip.
Start time: 6pm
Distance: 8~ miles
Elevation gain: 1,600 ft.
If you have not signed a group ride waiver for 2023, please sign HERE.
The Dirt Concern will provide a cooler for cold drinks and a grill for brats, dogs, etc., so feel free to BYO grillables and beverages for a post-ride parking lot hang. A warm layer is recommended.
If you have any questions, please email ride leader David Tucker.
