Bikes and Brews

Bikes and Brews is a celebration of bikes, brews, trails, and community. Help the Southwest Montana Mountain Bike Association reach a goal of $20,000 for 2020 trail projects.

This year we will be celebrating on September 7th at the Emerson Ballroom from 1pm - 10pm. Join us for a day of educational bike clinics, beer and appetizer pairing, and a dance party with Holler’n Pine. Not to mention your chance to win a brand new Santa Cruz mountain bike donated by Owenhouse cycles.

Buy your entry below for $45/person, or wait till the night of the event and get night-of entry for $55/person.

Schedule of events:

  • 1pm - 5pm: Clinics and Educational Talks. Free.

  • 5pm - 7pm: VIP Party with Appetizers and Beer Pairings (awesome) + late night party admission + 1 raffle ticket entry for the Santa Cruz bike. $55 at door.

  • 7pm - 10pm: PARTY with Holler and Pine. $10 at door.

Locally Produced Films

The Spoke ‘N’ Trail Film Festival is a celebration of local trails and southwest Montana’s mountain-biking community. Created by SWMMBA, this festival is a fundraiser for trail development and maintenance. Films include:

  • Wildrye Distilling Team High Altitude | Produced by Nathan Norby, showcasing Bozeman’s riders, community, and local businesses that ensure grassroots mountain-bike racing is alive and well

  • The Buotte Build | Produced by Micah Robin, featuring 9-year-old local Big Sky rider and trail builder

  • 2019 Adventure Clips | Kevin Matluk, featuring mountain-bike powered fly-fishing adventures based from Bozeman

  • Victory Lap | Stio, Justin Mayers, Danny Holland, Stirling Cobb, featuring the personal stories behind attempting the Leadville 100

Beer for the festival will be donated by MAP Brewing and Bridger Brewing. Raffle and business sponsors include: Wildrye Distilling, Grizzly Outfitters, Stio & Big Sky Resort. All funds raised go directly to local trail projects and stewardship.
